DuetNest: one shared system for families and co-parents
DuetNest keeps two households on the same page — calendar, tasks, expenses, agreements and communication in one place, so coordination doesn't depend on screenshots and chat history.
The challenge
Co-parenting coordination is spread across chats, calendars, bank transfers and memory. When something is disputed, there is no shared record — only two versions of it.
The product had to work for people who don't want to talk much: neutral, low-friction, and useful even when only one side is engaged.
What we built
Shared timeline as the source of truth
Events, handovers and changes live on one timeline both sides see, so history is a fact rather than an argument.
Money without awkwardness
Expenses are logged, split and settled inside the product, so reimbursements stop being a personal negotiation.
Agreements in writing
Recurring arrangements are stored as structured agreements instead of being re-litigated every month.
Assistant where it helps
AI is used for the boring part — turning messy input into structured events and summaries — not as a gimmick.
